Touchsmart 300-1007 desktop hacked and had to return it to factory restore. Got Windows 7 and MS Office back up okay. Made back-up discs before restoring but can't get them to reinstall. Can someone help or advise the proper process?

Apologies if this is the wrong section for this.
I bought an HP Touchsmart 610 two years ago (the one year warranty has expired) and it has been great up till yesterday when all of a sudden the screen crashed and started to flicker - the screen is on but is full of horizontal lines that move.
What is the cause and solution(s) for this?

Downgraded from Win 8 to Win 7, all went well except I get the message "USB driver not found" the USB 2 work but USB 3 do not.
I need to find drivers that will work in this setup

Hi i am new to this site can somebody please help me find the correct drivers for my computer , the model number on the case is a6000 and it is a deskstop , i have just removed Vista from my computer and have put windows xp professional on it , i have done a fresh install and of course i forgot to back up all my drivers and i have looked at the HP site for the correct drivers , but my machine is not listed , but i have found one with the same motherboard which is a HP M2N 68 LA (NARRA) but the rest of the speciffications are not the same tis model only shows 160 gig hard drive mine has 500 also it only shows 1 gig of memory mine has 3 gig so i am at a loss at which are the correct drivers for this model, i have just found out that the a6000 was a reference no for a complete HPkit including printers ect , any help on this would be much appreciated ,

Recently my wifi connection disappears. It's like there is no card but when looking at the hardware profile it says it is there and working properly. I am using window 8.1 pro I can use an usb adapter for wifi and it works

Please help me. I recently ordered a Sapphire HD 5450 1GB ddr3, Paul Tikkanen helped me alot choosing this video card, which I still appreciate ALOT.
One problem, I lost my onboard audio. I've read on several forums that enabling the onboard audio in the BIOS will solve this. Unforunately, I can't enter the BIOS, I need to enter a password which I don't know.
Please, is there there a way to fix this without needing to enter the BIOS? I really want my onboard audio back, as soon as possible, please help me.

Hi, well I was on my computer for a long time the other day and I put my computer in sleep mode for a few minutes, when I came back, the computer monitor was blank but the desktop and mouse still had a light, the computer was still going to sleep, I waited for a bit longer but I eventually had to turn the computer off using the power button, when I tried turning the computer back on, it kept turning on and off repeatedly by its self, booting up for about 3 seconds before turning off, I had to turn it off by the mains to stop this but I found out it stops if I hold down the power button long enough. The fans are working, and the computer does not get far enough into the boot up for there to be a picture on the monitor or for me to use F10, F1 or the delete button. Can someone please help, Thank you
On my HP Pavilion p7-1257c Desktop I am constantly loosing my internet connection but do not lose it on any other computers connected to the same network.
When I run the trouble shooters it always performs the same functions:
"Purge DNS Resolver Cache"
"Reset the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller adapter"
After these are performed the internet connection is fine for approximately a day.
Root problems listed are to contact the internet service provider but this happens only to this particular computer so I have to believe it is not an issue with my service provider.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

So this morning I tried to play Fallout 3, which crashed with reckless abandon, and I remembered reading somewhere that this game in particular had an issue with Intel integrated graphics. So, I attempted to get my AMD Radeon 7500M/7600M to work. After lots of uninstalling and reinstalling, I got the GPU to work with Windows with no errors, but in the process I uninstalled Catalyst Control Center. So, I have a few questions:
1: Is CCC a necessity in switching/configuring/whatever my GPUs?
2: If it is, how on earth do I reinstall it? I have tried numerous things (uninstalling and reinstalling all AMD/ATI things amongst them, and the Catalyst Install Manager does not have an option to install CCC).
3: If not, how do I make the Radeon my primary/default GPU?
I am on a Probook 4540s running Windows 8 64-bit.

I have a HP Omni 200-5320il Desktop PC (All in One).
I run Windows-7 Basic 64 Bit. I did not get this operating system originally. Instead, my machine had DOS installed.
I bought the OS separately and installed it. The machine is more than a year old and everything was fine until now.
Couple of days ago, All of sudden by wifi card driver went off.
I tried to restore the PC to an older date but it did not work.
I cannot see the driver in the Device Manager window.
I went to HP's website and downloaded the driver for wifi card :
However, as I tried installing wireless card driver but, I get following error when installing it on my computer.
Hy.i buyed a hp from a friend.problem is i was playng and when go smoke and come back display was black, i thinking was stand bu but afther move mouse dont work.i restart and nothing happens.afther 2 days and many try to start display work then again broken then again back.i tryed rbg connection and work so i think isent from graphic device.can help my with these? I have the problem with DC5800.
I do fresh installation of win7 ultimate x64.
Now when I try to restart system (restart, not shut down), system is down, check bios, and ... black screen.
System don't start.
When I shut down system and start now - everything is ok.
System is boot normal.
I do upgrade bios (from 1.04 to 1.55), all system updates, read half internet :) and I have no idea.
Can anybody help me?

I have tried to restore my HP to factor configuration with the Supplemental disk and the Recovery disks and also without the Supplemental disk.
Each time I get the unrecoverable error.
What can I do?

I have a DC7800 Ultra Slim desktop. It only boots into the blue BootBlock Emergency Recovery Mode screen. I've burned the bios image iso onto a CD and it picks it up and says it's flashing the bios. Then it says to unplug the machine for 5 seconds and plug it in again. When I turn it back on, it ends up in the same recovery mode screen. I've done this at least 25 times and I've tried all the versions of the BIOS on the support site. I've also tried putting the bin file on a USB drive, which the recovery mode finds, and flashes, but it still only boots into recovery mode. I've tried using the CMOS reset button, and setting the Boot Block jumper, but nothing helps. Is there anything else I should try, or is it dead?
